Lenovo to launch Vibe Shot in India on September 22
Lenovo
is not the name that comes to mind when you talk about digital cameras.
Well, all of this is set to change when the company launches its new
Vibe Shot smartphone that the company previewed at MWC.
The dual-SIM, 4G (LTE) device sports a 5-inch Full HD IPS display and is packed with a 1.7GHz Snapdragon octacore processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, and a 2900mAh battery .
But what make this smartphone stand apart are its camera credentials. The Vibe Shot boasts of a 16MP rear camera with infrared auto-focus, tri-colour flash, optical image stabilization,9 BSI sensor, as well as an 8MP frontfacing camera.
Its frame holds dedicated photography controls, including a two-stage shutter release button release button that's usually found only on digital cameras.

Lenovo is gearing up to launch Vibe Shot, a camera-focused
smartphone which was showcased during this year's Mobile World Congress.
The phone will debut in the Indian market on September 22 via a digital
launch.
It was launched globally at $349 (approximately Rs 23,000) so we expect a similar price tag.
The Lenovo Vibe Shot has been designed to look similar to a compact camera. It has a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920p) IPS display with Gorilla Glass protection.
The phone sports a 16MP rear camera with 16:9 BSI sensor and tricolour flash along with Optical Image Stabilization. The phone sports an infrared focus sensor which as per the company, is twice as fast as normal autofocus. It supports 1080p video capture. The device also sports an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies.
Lenovo Vibe Shot is powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. There's no memory card slot.
The phone is backed by a 2,900mAh battery and supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 LE options. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Lenovo's Vibe UI running on top.
